Baltimore has moved up the board to second and is closing in on the Chiefs. The Ravens’ odds to win it all shifted to +600 from +700 after getting the 41-31 win over Tampa Bay on Monday night.
The Lions — who round out the top three — moved to +800 from +850 after defeating the Vikings, 31-29.
“Let’s talk about the second-best team in the league, and I think it’s pretty substantial and clear that it’s Detroit,” host Colin Cowherd said on “The Herd.”
“Quarterback, O line, run game, clever offensive coordinator, power, finesse, culture — there are no weaknesses to that offense.”
The fourth team on the board is now San Francisco. The 49ers’ Super Bowl odds dropped to +1200 from +700 after the Chiefs handed them their fourth loss of the season.
“[It has] to be very frustrating for Kyle Shanahan, and in the Super Bowl last year, the margin of error was so slim,” FOX Sports lead NFL analyst Tom Brady said after the Niners’ loss to the Chiefs. “This game wasn’t that close … the Niners could never really gain control. They got close, [but] of course, the Chiefs found a way.”
A team that fell after Week 7 is Atlanta.
The Falcons were sitting at +2500 before they played the Seahawks at home but then moved to +3500 after their 34-14 loss.
The Texans also dropped to +1600 from +1200 after losing to the Packers, 24-22.
“We have to go back to the drawing board and see what those issues were,” Houston coach DeMeco Ryans said after the loss. “As we watch the film, we’ll see what happened, starting for me the communication and just guys being on the details of the job.”
Two other notable moves include Arizona surging to +9000 from +15000 and the Saints dropping to +15000 from +9000.
